First, the Jianshanling section of the Great Wall is, in my opinion, the best you can reach from Beijing. It is beautiful, authentic, some areas have not been touched at all, and it is peaceful. Second, our driver, Xing Jian, was amazing. He went above and beyond. He was right on time at our hotel in the morning, waiting in the lobby, and had water and Coca Cola ready in the car. It was especially cold when we went, and he brought us heavy jackets and gloves! He was very patient - we took our time on the wall - and when we came back he had food waiting for us in the car. Although he only spoke some English, communication was no problem. He had a translation program, and was patient and kind. Plus, his car was super comfortable and he was a good driver. We can’t say enough good things about him and his service!

I am speechless with this tour, it was a dream come true. I picked JingShanling side to avoid the crowds, even though is a longer drive. In summary, it was the best decision I've made when comparing to the photos I see from Badaling. The tour starts with a very punctual transportation and educated driver. My guide May was really amazing, I am usually very interested in the history and data points, and she knew everything! We walked without crossing with anyone, getting amazing information on the way and she is also very kind and fun. I had a great time with May and she even gifted me with a New Years present at the end, I loved this tour!

We were a small group of 3 visiting from sydney and chicago. Excellent tour. Our tour guide Justin was excellent and made it very special. Friendly, knowledgeable with excellent English. Took us up the Jinshanling great wall. Fantastic experience. No other tourists in sight. We saw both the restored and original great wall. Physically moderately demanding. Can be steep in sections. Enjoyable workout but not recommended if not reasonably fit I would recommend justin and catherine lu tours without hesitation

We had the best time during this tour! The transportation was well taken care of and the Jingshanling part of the wall is very quiet and peaceful! Nearly came across no other people. Our guide, James, also gave lots of information and was open for questions throughout the trip. Thanks again for the amazing experience!

Zhao Jinfu was an amazing guide! Totally recommend this experience. The Great Wall is stunning!
