Vasco was an excellent guide for our private Fatima tour. He was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. Because we were in a private vehicle, we were able to visit the village where the children lived and saw the place where the angel appeared to them. Visiting Fatima on our own instead of with a bus load of other tourists allowed us to experience it in a more intimate way. Highly recommend going this route if you are a group of 4-6 persons.

    5. Fátima: 5 hour Private Tour

Come and submerge yourself in the sacred. Start from Lisbon on a half-day tour to Fatima, a rural region that was completely unknown before the happenings of 1917. After that, the apparitions took place every months, on the 13th of every month, until October of 1917. On this last apparition about 70000 pilgrims witnessed a miracle, when the sun seemed to move in circles. The young shepherds said that the Virgin Mary told them that Humanity should pray everyday for peace and for the conversion of the sinners. Visit, in addition to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Chapel of the Lausperene, a great oak tree (near which the Marian Apparitions occurred), a monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and...

Our guide Vasco was amazing! We had limited time in port, but somehow Vasco helped us fit everything in with time to spare. Fátima is a special place in itself, but Vasco made the experience extra memorable for my family. This was our first experience with a private tour guide, and it will not be our last! Thank you again Vasco for a fantastic tour of Fátima and Lisbon!
