Discover the Nidlenloch in the Swiss Jura Canton. This cave tour will impress upon you the fascination of utter quiet and pitch darkness. An experienced guide will lead you through the system and answer any questions you may have.
What to Expect
Travel into the belly of the earth and enjoy total stillness and darkness. Your journey will take you deep into unknown territory, a physical and mental voyage of discovery.
The entrance to the cave is 1274m above sea level. With good visibility you will catch a beautiful view of the Bernese Alps (the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau), before you open the small door set into the rock, and enter the underworld.
The Nidlenloch, which is comprised of over 8km of caverns, is one of the largest cave systems in Switzerland. It is environmentally protected and offers excellent opportunities for all sorts of adventures. Tricky spots are safely provided with ladders. Excursions are as suitable for beginners as for experts, and the tour is particularly enjoyable for school and office trips, and for group outings.
