We loved our daytrip from Thessaloniki to Meteora. We had a great afternoon with tourguide Clement and driver Chrisos. We went from platform 17 at the Thessaloniki, busstation with the KTEL bus. In order to travel you have to first stop at the issuing desk prior to boarding in order to get your printed tickets. At busstop Trikala we had a stop and went further with the same KTEL bus to Kalampaka. At busstop ‘Fournes’ in Kalampaka busstop waited driver Alex for us. He brought us to Clement and the group. Clement shares everything about the history of Meteora with you and talks about it enthusiastically:) He tells you all about the sights and the villages around them. And explaines clearly where you can eat and where you can get the bus back to Thessaloniki. We were back at 23:00. We had a great day with meteora thrones!
