We were picked up at the war memorial in Cefalù in the morning. The bus came to manageable 7 minutes too late which at the beginning confused us a bit since we were the only ones waiting there. The bus was very modern, air-conditioned and USB charging stations above every row of seats. The tour guide told us a lot about the island on the way. At Etna you have the option to take the gondola up, which we can highly recommend. There is also the possibility to drive the Jeep to the "main crater" for a not so small additional charge. However, we have saved this and can therefore not say anything about it. In any case, the time on Mount Etna was sufficient. Then it went on to Taormina. The tour guide gave us a 40 minute tour and after that we had 2 hours to ourselves. Around 7:30 p.m. we were back in Cefalù. All in all, very good for 55 €.

Gut organisiert.

A well organized trip. Reaching 3 thousand m. by cable car and off-road cars is an additional cost of about 70 €, but for 1900 (a bus arrives there, there is also an interesting crater. Taormina is beautiful.
