Cavtat

Mato was extremely accommodating from start to finish. We were collected from Mlini to wait in a hotel in Cavtat whilst he collected other people, We had a brief induction and overview of the trip, then walked 100yrds to where the safari jeeps were parked. We set off in our own Suzuki Vitara in convoy following Mato. We travelled on country roads, gravel tracks and across fields to the former airport site, stopped for some informative history of the region, Got back in the jeeps and drove on tracks to the local village and a walk up to the source of the local river for a relaxing sit in the shade. After which, we sat in the trees next to the river for our supplied lunch from the restaurant. Food was much nicer than expected and included bbq meats, cold meats, cheeses, pickles, homemade bread, chips, grilled vegetables, salad and more, plus a drink of our choice. Safari continued after on rocky tracks to view points. Brilliant trip, well worth the money, amazing host, just book it!
