Vitoria: 2.5-Hour Private Walking Tour
- Duration: 2.5 hours
Begin from the beautiful Plaza de España, where you’ll learn what makes this place unique from your informative guide. Pass Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, where the locals celebrate the beginning of the patron saint’s festivities. Walk around the spot where Celedón, a famous character who comes flying down from the sky, lands in the city. Following that, stroll through the Casco Viejo and discover why locals prefer to call it the medieval almond. Pass by many charming corners, as well as the old wall from the 11th century. Be delighted by the old cathedral, inspired by works of the novelist Ken Follet, as well as the colorful murals. Admire the Renaissance palace of Villa Suso in Plaza del Machete. Stop to appreciate the spectacular views, before finishing your tour in front of the Church of San Miguel.

This was a really fun tour. We had a wonderful guide who gave us good information and made it very enjoyable. The wine tour they provided of a small boutique winery was exceptional. We also loved having some time on our own to explore these two marvelous towns and enjoy a very delicious lunch. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a general feel for the area in a one day span. It made us all want to return to the region and explore more.
Attentive tour guide, well organized in view of the shortage of time. Good gastronomic tips without obligation. The excursion fully met my expectations.
It was an extraordinary tour! Fantastic landscape with a great scenery! Fun to see the grapes the winecellars.
Our guide Steven was awesome! There were two of us on the tour and it was a very informative day.
Stephane was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
