A thoroughly enjoyably day trip from Rome, visiting a vineyard, a beautiful town and a gorgeous restaurant. We met our guide Jess at the Meeting point and our minibus and driver were waiting for us. The minibus to the vineyard from Rome was comfortable and allowed us to see some countryside. It took just under 40 minutes. Once we arrived we were warming greeted by the owners and provided with a extensive tour. Our guide Jess sat down and provided us Information about the various wine and food we tasted. It was all delicious. From the vineyard we went to the nearby town of Castel Gandolfo, which was lovely to explore. After a stroll around we went to a beautiful restaurant called La Gardenia. The food and service was amazing and view of the lake was incredible. All in all a fantastic day and highly recommended for those looking for a day trip from Rome.
