What to Expect
This full day tour will simply amaze you as you tour the town that Lord Byron called “The Garden of Eden.” Others have called it the “Most beautiful village in the world” and you will soon see why as we pick you up at your hotel and drive to the center of Sintra village.

Here you will take a stroll through the village, stopping to taste the famous pastries Travesseiros de Sintra and Queijadas de Sintra. You will feel the magic and mystery that emanates from all the palaces, villas and estates throughout the landscape.

Visit the Sintra National Palace, the best preserved medieval Royal Palace in the country, with its Manueline and Moorish styles. Stop at the Castle of the Moors, where you will witness breathtaking views from its walls and towers.

Move on to stop at a nearby village for a typical Portuguese lunch, before continuing across the mystical Sintra Mountain. Get swept up in the lush scenery of green forest, blue lagoons and watchtowers known only to locals.

We will visit Cape Roca, the western most point in continental Europe to give you an idea of what our ancestors were considering 500 years ago; is this the site of the end of the world, or should we embrace adventure and set sail across the seas?

Next you will go to the stunning Guincho Beach, a truly natural and iconic attraction. The fortress and lighthouses along the coast add to the magical, mystical atmosphere.

You will pause at Boca do Inferno and the cozy village of Cascais village. A strong contrast to previous stops, Cascais is one of the wealthiest places in Portugal and was a popular vacation spot for the nation’s royal family In the 19th and early 20th-Century.

Take some time enjoying its cosmopolitan streets, before the return to your hotel.
