Start the day in Casablanca, driving an hour along the highway until you arrive in the capital of the Moroccan kingdom. Once in the city, make your way to some of Rabat's most fascinating sights, starting with the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque begun in 1195 and intended to be the largest minaret in the world. Then make your way to the Mohammed V Mausoleum, containing the tombs of the Moroccan king and his two sons, and considered a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture. Continue on to the massive Bouregrag River, and the fortress-like Kasbah of the Oudayas found at the mouth of the river. As a final stop along the tour, visit the Mechouar, the ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace of Rabat.
