It exceeded my expectations! I didn’t go to see the blue grotto because I didn’t want to wait in the 1.5 hour line in the boat to get in, but everything else was amazing! And the 1 hour ride I felt like was the perfect amount of time to see everything and not be uncomfortable from being out in the sun for so long.

The experience will be worth your time and money, but there are several things you should be aware of before to maximize your enjoyment. In order to have enough time to visit the Blue Grotto, attempt to get to Capri or board a boat as early in the morning as possible. Bring cash with you to pay the 14 EUR per person small boat fare to enter the Blue Grotto. Second, because the trip may take up to two hours and the captain will wait at the Blue Grotto for about an hour, some of you may start to feel seasick. To prepare for this, take some motion sickness medication and avoid eating a heavy meal before boarding. The captain will provide bags but that’s all. Third, make sure you have water with you to stay hydrated as most of the boats will not have on board options to purchase water. Also, use a good deodorant as you will stick. Once will are inside the Blue Grotto all the bad things will disappear!

The trip lasted for 1h instead of 2, because the organizer didn't want to wait in front of the Blue Grotto for 1h for us to go in. Instead they returned us to the harbor and directed the people who want to go to the Grotto to another sailboats which would take us back to it without additional charge, which was in a way, good. The problem I had was with the ticket office because they insisted to print a physical copy of the ticket, even if we had e-tickets and that isn't mentioned in the description. One person almost missed her tour because of that. All in all, it was okay, but I wouldn't go again.
