What to Expect
Day 1: QAIA Airport - Amman (+/- 40 km)

Meeting and assistance at QAIA airport. This service includes assistance with immigration formalities and transfer to your hotel in Amman. Overnight stay in Amman.

Day 2: Amman - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Kerak - Petra (+/- 300 km)

From Amman to Petra, visit Madaba and the Basilica of St. George. The floor of the church features a remarkable mosaic map of the Holy Land from the 6th century. Climb the mountain of Nebo where Moses looked out over the Promised Land.

Less than 2 kilometers north of the fortified city is the highest-standing ancient tower of Jordan, Umm Ar-Rasas, which continues to remain a mystery to the experts. A 15 meter high, square tower with no door or staircase, Umm Ar-Rasas is now inhabited by birds. Then visit the best preserved Crusader castle in Jordan; Karak. Overnight stay in Petra. (B)

Day 3: Petra - All day visit - Aqaba (+/- 120 km)

Experience a fascinating tour of Petra and admire the stunning nature and the amazing architecture of this ancient city. Take a walk for over a kilometer through the Siq, a narrow gorge with colorful cliffs, to the magnificent treasure house. Admire the Royal Tombs, the Roman theater, and the magnificent temples and museums. If you like, you can take a walk to the monastery or place of sacrifice.

After your visit to Petra, continue to Aqaba for an overnight stay. (B)

Day 4: Aqaba

Jordan is often referred to as a window to the sea, and Aqaba certainly brings some breezy refreshment after spending time in the hot pink desert! The sandy beaches and coral reefs around Aqaba are the most pristine on the Red Sea, and the Jordanians are continually working to preserve it. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride and a short swim out to the coral reef. Unusual vertical currents and a refreshing sea breeze make diving in the heat of summer a cool and pleasant experience. You can also go snorkeling, fishing, and sailing. Or if you like, take a trip in a glass bottomed boat. (B)

Day 5: Aqaba

Discover Aqaba for yourself. Go shopping, stroll through the city, or go for another adventure in the Red Sea. You have a whole day at your leisure! (B)

Day 6: Aqaba - Wadi Rum - Dead Sea (+/- 290 km)

Check out the desert at Wadi Rum. Experience the largest and most magnificent of Jordan's desert landscapes; a vast and timeless place that's virtually untouched by man. Explore the canyons, water holes and the rock drawings which are up to 4,000 years old.

Enjoy the sun, then head to the Dead Sea for a refreshing dip. If you're not a confident swimmer, don't worry! You're not going to sink! The high salinity and minerals prevent this and moisturize the skin. Treat yourself to a relaxing massage, or try the well-known healing powers of the minerals from the sea and its muddy bottom. If you want a quiet stay, spend the night in a comfortable hotel which looks across the sea to the West Bank. Overnight stay at the Dead Sea. (B)

Day 7: Dead Sea

What is there to see? Near Al Ghor Al Safi, Lot's refuge is one of the most important archaeological discoveries in Jordan. The cave is located on a hill near a small spring overlooking the Dead Sea, and you'll get to see it all on this day trip in the desert. (B)

Day 8: Dead Sea - QAIA Airport

After breakfast it is time to say goodbye. A transfer service back to QAIA airport for your return flight is included. (B)
