Join for a culinary journey through Cape Town, showcasing the best of South Africa's artisan producers: cheese makers, chocolatiers, craft beer breweries, world-renowned wines, traditional snacks and more!
What to Expect
You will start your day in the Company's Gardens with a walk and history lesson on the many cultural and culinary influences in Cape Town. Next stop is Woodstock, a vibrant hidden gem on the outskirts of town, where you will have a great cup of coffee or tea at one of the many exceptional roasteries within this area.
Is it too early for alcohol? The next stop will be a craft brewery for a beer and food pairing. After Woodstock, go back to the city center for a walk from Heritage Square up Bree Street, Cape Town’s coolest strip, coveted by locals and tourists alike. Along the way you will sample some artisan chocolate and truffles, and get your teeth into South Africa’s best biltong, before heading off to the iconic and colorful district of Bo Kaap.
Once in the Bo Kaap you will sample the delights of the Cape's Eastern traditions, including samosas, koeksisters, and spices. You will finish the tour with locally-produced cheese and the best of the Western Cape's wines. Just in case you haven't had enough, the guide will be available to direct you to the city’s vibrant art scene at ‘First Thursdays’, or the Hope Street Night Market.
