Full description
Join this nature-lovers activity to go on a 6-hour guided excursion into a UNESCO-listed nature reserve in search of thrilling rock-jumping opportunities. Your tour begins with a mild hike through the Steenbras Nature Reserve to the natural rock pools known as “Crystal Pools”. You’ll be submerged in the beauty of the Fynbos floral kingdom as you’re guided along the 2-kilometer hike to the pools.   Once you arrive at the pools, you can choose what you’d like to do: go swimming in the pools, or relax alongside them and enjoy the picturesque surroundings of one of the Western Cape’s best nature reserves. For adrenaline junkies, the pools have a number of rock jumps that range from 7 meters to 22 meters high.   Your day concludes with a healthy lunch and a few drinks at a “sundowners” location.

This experience was well-organised and a lot of fun! Me and mum husband wanted something out of the city that was away from the main tourist attractions. We were so glad we found this company. We had such good time we booked 3 other tours with them! Our guide was Nicole and she was brilliant.

I had a lot of fun with Nick. We even met up for drinks on my last night in Cape Town. It felt more like exploring a new hiking trail with a local friend than a formal tour. Thanks bud! Ill be sure to return the favour when you come visit!

We had a blast exploring the beautiful nature reserve. My husband jumped the big rock-jumps (I stuck to the small ones) and the day was topped-off with drinks overlooking the ocean. We have been to Cape Town before so for us, this was a great way to do something we had not done before. Probably one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you Local Knowledge
