Pick up time was prompt but we made an extra stop so that people could pay. Which made us wait linger when we already paid in advance while others did not. Either everyone should have paid in advance or the tour guide should have not stopped the whole bus. Either done it while driving or when each person loaded the bus. Whole experience was great but I felt we could have spent more time at the volcano itself. We didn’t even get a chance to go to the gift store because I had to take the kids to the bathroom and time was up. Couldn’t even get a snack because there was a line. Camel ride was excellent! Everyone should do it if they can! Return was on time and no complaints.

We did the fire mountains tour with our 4 year old and it was the perfect length for all of us to enjoy. 3 stops and an amazingly skilled drive round the Luna route of Timanfaya National Park. Our tour guide Erich not only mastered speaking 3 languages but was so welcoming and funny. He made a real fuss of our daughter and I think he made her trip! Thanks Erich!

We were picked up first by the coach and it was another 2 hours before we started our tour due to picking up from numerous other locations…the trip consists of 3 attractions - camel rides, visitor centre of the nature reserve followed by a coach ride around the volcanoes and lava field ( by far the highlight but not for the faint- hearted on a coach squeezing round tight corners with high drops at the side!), and finally a visit to a vineyard. We were then last off the bus after another hour and more dropping off at other hotels. Enjoyed the attractions but no real time for anything to eat so make sure you take something with you.
