What People Are Saying About Cambodian Cultural Village
On this tour you get a very good view of how many Cambodiam people live, very poor but happy. The tour guide was excellent answering all the questions asked in very good English.A tour not to be missed.
A simply wonderful experience......great from start to finish..... Highly recommend!!
Great afternoon tour with informative chef in nice surroundings, we did not need to eat much in the evening, morning class would be good to try also.
The visit to a local home brought a personal touch. The chef was very patient throughout the whole cooking procedure and personal attention was given to all participants.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Lee explained to me that the villages were looked after by a NGO (Husk) who had set up schools, medical facilities, recycling of water bottles which they fill and make into the walls of the houses, he showed me many of the new initiatives they are making to improve the lives of the people. The tour company itseld makes a donation from all revenue to help the Khmer village people. Lee, my excellemt tour guide, was happy to answer my many questions and was very professional and respectful. He has a good university education and is very informativd yet sensitive to the lives, rituals and beliefs of the people. Don't use any other guide then him; he is the best I have found and I have travelled to Cambodia 5 times and spent much time here, so I do know! It was wonderful walking through the villages; meeting & talking with elders and the lovely smiling young children. We also learnes about thwir agricultural life, their spiritual beliefs; why homes on stilts
