Experience the highlights of Banff with our expert guides. From famous landmarks to hidden gems, this tour is the perfect way to get it done at a great pace, yours!
On day one we'll cover some of the most amazing Canyons, Lakes and High Points.
- On the way to Lake Minnewanka, you'll learn about the history of Banff and of course we'll add a twist of humour to keep you on your toes! This beautiful lake would be the perfect stretcher for you to enjoy the views from the comfort of a bench overlooking the lake or the marina, your choice.
- The famous downtown Banff, where you can enjoy lunch, do a bit of shopping, have a beavertail for dessert, take a photo in the middle of the street, cross a bridge or two, checkout a museum, or hangout by the river. We'll give plenty of options and might quiz you on its history.
- Johnston Canyon to the lower falls, a short easy hiking trail with bridges leading to a great reward at the end, beautiful water color, and very picturesque rock formations along the canyon.
- To end the day we'll take a ride on a ski lift to a breathtaking lookout overlooking the town of Banff and Vermillion Lakes! And if we get lucky, we might see bears or other wildlife right under us as we ride to the top!
Day two will be filled with spectacular and breathtaking turquoise waters!
- Lake Louise is definitely a crowd pleaser, from the views of Victoria Glacier, to the lookouts on the mountains around, to the trail along the lake, and the famous red canoes available for rent, there are plenty of things to do here. You can be sure that this place will stay in your heart and memory for years to come.
- Our second stop is one of the most photographed areas of Banff, the astonishing Moraine Lake! Our favorite lake in all the parks in the area, not only offers surreal views, the feeling of being present in front of such natural beauty will humble even the highest expectations anyone might have, words can't describe this place. This area is only accessible from mid June to mid September, make sure to enjoy it! We'll have time to enjoy lunch by the lakeshore and hike the easy rockpile trail to see the lake from above. The frisk glacier water is perfect for a polar plunge, or maybe you'll like to rent a canoe, or just relax in the serenity of the lake, or simply sit down and take in all the beauty around you.
- Next stop is Bow Lake, the area offers views of a tall glacier waterfall in the background, the birth of the Bow River along yet another incredible place, the famous Icefields Parkway. Take a short walk to the lake side to enjoy the views, you'll feel the frigid water with your hands and find out why not many chose to swim at this lake.
- Our last stop for the day will be at Payto Lake, named after Bill Payto who was both an early pioneer and park warden. This glacier lake can be seen from a newly built lookout, offering incredible 360 degree views of the lake and the valley. You will have a hard time leaving this stunning area
