6 Must Sees in Cala Millor

Situated on the east coast of Mallorca, Cala Millor is a dream vacation spot for anyone who loves the beach, sun, and water. After all, how could you go wrong when Cala Millor translates to "better bay"?

Beach

There's no feeling like white sand under your feet. Add in some turquoise seas and a sunset and feel all your worries wash away with the outgoing waves. The beach at Cala Millor is known for being in pristine condition--year round!

Cuevas del Drach

The Cuevas del Drach, literally the "Dragon Caves" are a series of four caves that visitors may explore. Fun for all ages, visits to the caves end with a serenade from a four piece band in a boat.

Palma Cathedral

The Palma Cathedral is a hauntingly beautiful place to visit in Cala Millor. The cathedral, built in Catalan Gothic style, took nearly four centuries to complete.

Cap de Formentor

No trip to Cala Millor would be complete without an excursion to Cap de Formentor, located at the most northern part of Mallorca. From the top you get spectacular 360 degree views.

Bellver Castle

Architects will appreciate the Bellver Castle as an opportunity to see one of Europes' only circular castles. After several centuries of being under royal and subsequently military rule, the Bellver castle now houses a History Museum.

Santuari de Lluc

Considered to be one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Mallorca, Santuari de Lluc is a monastery and sanctuary founded in the 13th century. Many walking tours use the sanctuary as a starting point.

What People Are Saying About Cala Millor

Amazing experience, lovely staff! But riding group to big

Me and my partner really enjoyed the horseriding all the horses were really well cared for and staff seemed to really love their horses. Everyone was helpful and friendly and the entertainment and food was great! Not to mention the included wine ;-). Only thing that let it down was the size of the riding groups, they were so big and not everybody could ride and refused to go into the beginner groups. The staff need to be more forceful and not let the customers tell them they can ride when it's clear they can't!! Doesn't help the horses backs! Other than that a great day had!

Lovely scenic rides on various modes of transportation.

Wonderful wooden train ride through Soller, fun guide, breathtaking views from boat to beach. Lovely walk -wish we'd had time to take the walk through the valley. Next visit.

Scenic Full-Day Tour of Mallorca Reviewed by Alison, 06/25/2016

Very well organised and the tour guide was excellent, very informative

Excellent tour guide, he made the trip fun, full of enthusiasm. His multi language skills were very impressive. The trip was well organised and I was picked up right outside the hotel, even though I was the only person on the tour in this particular hotel. All round excellent trip. Perhaps only thing I might change is would prefer more time at Cap Formentor viewing point and less time at the market stop.
