This tour covers the many highlights of Egypt, with its ancient monuments, the Nile and wonders of the Red Sea.
What to Expect
Day 1 - Cairo: Arrival in Cairo and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Possibility to visit Islamic Cairo, Khan el Khalili market, The Citadel or some Nile cruises.
Day 2 - Cairo: Today you'll visit the Egyptian Museum, with its more than 100,000 relics. Your guide will be with you for two or three hours, after which you are free to roam the museum yourself. After lunch we will visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza. In the evening you will board your first class train to Aswan.
Day 3 - Aswan: Arrival in Aswan in the early morning. Later in the day you will visit the Philae Temple and the High Dam of Aswan. The evening is free.
Day 4 - Aswan: This morning, you will board your local felucca to visit Kitchener and Elephantine Islands. In the afternoon you will begin your two night cruise down the Nile on a Nile Cruiser. You'll spend the afternoon lying in the sun before the chef prepares dinner.
Day 5 – Today you'll visit the Temples Edfu and Kom Ombo, from your Nile Cruiser. In the evening, you'll arrive in Luxor. You'll spend the night on the Nile Cruiser in Luxor.
Day 6 – After breakfast, you'll check out of the Nile Cruiser, to check into your Luxor Hotel. In the afternoon you will visit the East Bank and see Luxor Temple built by Amenhotep III and Karnak Temple.
Day 7 - Luxor: Today you'll visit the West Bank, Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. You may also visit the tomb of Tutankhamumi (optional). You can also visit the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut. In the afternoon you'll take the overnight bus to Dahab.
Day 8 - Dahab: Early morning arrival in Dahab. You'll relax and enjoy your day before an afternoon nap to prepare for your trip to Mount Sinai. You will leave the hotel at 11 in the evening, climb 2285 meters to the summit and wait for a magnificent sunrise
Day 9 - Dahab: After you've seen the sunrise, you'll climb down the mountain and visit the Monastery of St. Catherine, dedicated to the legendary martyr of Alexandria. You'll return to Dahab for a well earned rest. The rest of the day is free. In the evening you will transfer to the bus for the overnight journey to Cairo.
Day 10. Arrive in the morning to Cairo and transfer to hotel until the time of your departure to be transferred to the airport for our onward journey

Know Before You Go
Modesty in clothing should be observed. Women should cover their arms when visiting mosques. Bring comfortable walking shoes for sightseeing and walking on desert sand. Sneakers are needed and no open sandals as it is sandy. Sunglasses as well as hats and scarves are recommended as protection against the strong sun. No shorts in the cities and women should never wear sleeveless blouses or shorts at any time. Beaches are like beaches all over the world, much more casual and laid back so shorts can be worn. While at hotels, wear a cover wrap to/from the pool if you have to go through the hotel to reach it.
