What to Expect
On your arrival in Cairo you will be picked up by an expert guide, who will accompany you on the following tour. Your day of discovery starts off in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus.

Egyptian Museum

You will surely be amazed by the unique collection of over 120,000 artifacts from the old, middle and new dynasties of Ancient Egypt, and from other periods in this world-famous museum. The highlight of the museum is the carefully replicated tomb of Tutankhamen, with all his grave goods, such as the golden sarcophagus. The incomparable Death Mask of the pharaoh, made with pure gold and weighing 11kg, is also on display. The hall of mummies is a second unforgettable highlight, but entry is voluntary and not included in the price.

Felucca boat trip (voluntary)

Join in with an exciting voyage on the Nile in a small Egyptian sailing vessel, a Felucca, and let your soul be transported to Ancient Egypt.

After this, a lunch of delicious Egyptian specialties will await you in a restaurant on the banks of the Nile.

The Pyramids at Giza

After the museum you will travel on to Giza, where the three most famous and largest pyramids in Egypt stand. The pyramid of Cheops, the Great Pyramid, is the oldest and the last remaining of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. The pyramid of Khafre retains some of its limestone cladding at its apex.

The Sphinx

Marvel at one of the largest statues ever built, the Sphinx. It is also one of the most mysterious - one theory is that it guards, with its lion's body and human head, the graves of the pharaohs. The nearby Valley Temple is part of the pyramid complex.

After an unforgettable day in Cairo, you will return to the airport in the evening, where you will catch your flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. There the bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. You will arrive back home at around 22:30 in the evening.
