What People Are Saying About Cairo

The tour exceeds expectation and is made more interesting.

Ahmed Fayed is incredibly knowledge-able and professional as a tour guide. He is prepared to answer every question thrown not just about the tour itself but Egypt as whole. He makes sure every important part of the sites is covered memorably. I could not have recommended having Ahmed Fayed as our personal tour guide and EmoTours for organising such tours. Thank you for making sure we had such great time in Alexandria.

Fantastic knowledgeable and fun guide in a beautiful historical place

Our tour guide (Mahmed?) was so fantastic. He was at my hotel early, packed snacks and drinks for us (even though during Ramadan, when he would be fasting) and he took us on a wonderful day trip[ to Alexandria. Not only did I feel very safe, but I learned a lot, saw so many beautiful places and had a really wonderful time.

Excellent, easy and professional way to get a tour!

EMO Tours handled my day trip to Luxor from Cairo very professionally, ensurng I was taken care of from the moment I was picked up from my Cairo hotel to the moment I arrived back in the Cairo airport. Joseph went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied.

The trip is great as long as you survive the bus journey...

This trip is just something I think you 'have' to do if you go to Egypt & it didn't disappoint. The Egyptian Museum, despite being hassled for money in the toilets, was fascinating. Cairo itself is a bit mental, you can't hear yourself think over the car horns bibbing all the time but that's just its nature. Our guide asked if we'd like to take a short cruise down the Nile for 80EP, which we did, & it was lovely. The Papyrus shop, the Pyramids and the Sphinx are must sees and the lunch we had was delicious - although there was a power cut in the restaurant and so the air con went off, it was a bit gross. We also stopped off at a Bedouin perfumery which was a lovely experience. Lots of opportunities to buy presents on this trip, don't buy anything outside the pyramids though, you can get the same stuff at the airport on your way out and it's much cheaper! The only downside was the terrifying 6-hour bus journeys each way, if you're a nervous passenger DO NOT take this trip, fly instead!

Fantastic views at the pyramids, other parts of the trip unpleasant.

Views at pyramids were spectacular; tons of kids and sales men at the sight were aggresive and destroying the probably otherwise mystical armosphere. Additional sales elements during the trip (Papyrus Sales store and not planned boat tour in Kario) were unpleasant. Tour bus was small, not comfortable for such a long trip.
