  • Giza Pyramids and Sphinx: Half-Day Private Tour

    1. Giza Pyramids and Sphinx: Half-Day Private Tour

Meet your tour-guide in your hotel lobby and depart in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to the Giza Plateau. The tour begins by exploring the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will visit the Pyramid of Cheops (The Great Pyramid of Giza), the largest pyramid in the world. Continue your tour with visits to the Pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinos. Learn the architectural significance and fascinating history of these magnificent structures. While on the Giza Plateau, you will see The Great Sphinx of Giza and learn about the mystery of one of the oldest and largest sculptures in the world.

My tour guide was Mohamed Hamed with Mekawy as driver. The trip exceeded expectations. Mohamed is very professional: he speaks perfect English and has in-depth knowledge in Egyptology. But what was even more important for me as a solo traveler, Mohamed was also a great companion. In addition to showing all the highlights and giving background knowledge we also had phylosophical discussions related to Egypt. Since he know that I am open to experience the local people and culture, I was invited to have a tea + snacks with his friends who work at the pyramid complex. Overall, instead of being another tourist who came to take pictures of the pyramids it was more like having a trip with a local friend and spending good time. I am not sure about the other guides at this company but with Mohamed a great trip is guaranteed.

Our guide Ahmed ElSayed was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions. He was always willing to satisfy our needs and was respecting covid measures by wearing his mask amd frequently using antiseptic and offering to us as well (he was the only, among all the tours we had). We would give 5 stars to the tour guide, but we need to rate the whole experience. The reason we don't give 5 stars is that we believe the agency should have informed us that the library is closed on Fridays so that we could book the tour for another day and the price should be reduced if one of the stops included in the description could not be made. Another thing was the driver who extremely exceeded the speed limit. Even though he seemed very skillful we would feel more safe if he stayed within the limit.

  • Cairo: Egyptian Museum Skip-the-Line Ticket

    7. Cairo: Egyptian Museum Skip-the-Line Ticket

Avoid long ticket lines with skip-the-line entrance and spend more time inside the Egyptian Museum. Embark on a journey through the ancient Egyptian world in a museum boasting more than 120,000 objects and artifacts, some more than 5,000 years old. Upgrade your ticket to include a guided tour to get the most out of your visit. Upon arrival at the museum, skip the line and meet the local partner's representative at the entrance. Then, after receiving your ticket, either relish a day in the museum on your own or set off with your guide who will take you through every aspect of the museum and explain more about the place, as well as its valuable antiquities and artifacts. Don't miss the chance to admire King Tutankhamun’s famous death mask or the solid-gold mask. Get to see the mummies of Ramesses II and other items such as papyri, reliefs, funerary art, jewelry, and much more. By the end...

We waited outside the gates of the museum but the rep with the tickets was waiting inside, this could have been made clearer to us on the information provided. We didn't have a guide just used 'Skip the Line' which as it happened there was no queue (due to the lack of tourists because of the Coronavirus) but when there is a queue it would be well worth doing.

Then, after returning your quad, get ready to enjoy your optional camel ride. Explore the area in the more ancient and traditional way on the back of a camel. You will roam around the area at a much slower pace for a completely different experience. Admire the endurance of the ancient edifices that have stood for thousands of years and...

Fared was our tour leader. He came to our hotel to get us then accompanied us through our entire trip. He was informative and made sure we felt safe the whole time. Great tour. Highly recommended.

Luxor is possibly one of the hottest places on Earth so please remember a hat, water and shades! Our guide Yola was so friendly that by the end any inhibitions were gone. There was no pressure to buy anything that she took us to and I walked away with some lovely gifts for my family at prices I wouldn’t have been able to get in Cairo. The trip was long as I naively and foolishly booked the bus but what was really nice was the manager came to pick us up to make sure we got the right stop! So after 8+ hours we finally made it. The city is stunning. The monuments are breathtaking and you can’t help but be awed by everything. On the way back we got on a different bus where we saw the real Egypt! This bus took forever as we had many pit stops and finally arrived back in Cairo at 6:30am where the same driver was waiting for us. So apart from the heat and the journey I could not say enough lovely things about Yola and the overall experience

It was a fun experience that was well worth the effort and money. The journey took a long time but we were in a new van with nice air conditioning and an experienced driver. Our guide was able to tell us a lot about the rich Egyptian history. In short, top experience!!!

Great day with Mohamad. The tour went super smooth, on time, hassle free and our guide was super nice and very knowledgeable of the history and facts. We had an amazing day! Could skip the souvenir shops though but it is part and some were interesting to see.

Our tour guide Heba and driver Fares were probably the best hosts to this country one can get. They were full of knowledge and kindness, and made our trip to Alexandria very enjoyable. Thanks a ton!

Nice guides. The only downside is the long drive, but it's not the organizer's fault

Lovely trip with our tour guide Margo, experienced and very knowledgeable, would recommend!
