The best day of our whole trip to Australia. We absolutely loved the whole experience. We had torrential rain on our trip - but in only enhanced the experience of a rainforest. Waterproof clothing and good umbrellas are provided by Skyrail if you don’t have your own. Totally worth the money. Kuranda is stunning. If you have time, make sure you do the river boat trip also - the guide is so knowledgeable and the boat ride is a very pleasant 45 minutes before you board the scenic railway back to Cairns.

We loved everything about this trip. Starting from the friendly welcome onboard the bus to the wonderful staff members all day around. The views from the skyrail & the train were spectacular. I would 💯 recommend this trip to all of my family & friends that visit/holiday in Cairns/Queensland ❤️ Thank you for the amazing experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat x

Start your day with a transfer to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your journey to Kuranda. Be amazed as you glide silently over the rainforest canopy, enjoying two stops along the way. The Kuranda Boarding Pass offers discounted entry into selected Kuranda attractions as well as a detailed map to help you explore this quaint village. Your pre-allocated preferential seating enables you to avoid the lines, before boarding the Kuranda Scenic Rail for this historic journey. This tour includes the upgrade to the "Gold Class" service and includes Beverage menu, Refreshments, dedicated hostess and individual seating. Enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer as you travel from Kuranda to Cairns. The coach will meet you at Freshwater Station for your return transfer.

The gold class train ride from Freshwater to Kuranda was wonderful. Spectacular scenery and interesting history. Gold class was definitely worth it. Special thanks to our fabulous gold class head waiter, I.C. He deserves special mention for his hospitality, and his humour! Kuranda is absolutely lovely, but someone could make a mint providing a service up the hill from the station to the animal sanctuaries if you are unable to walk that far in the heat. Skyrail - whether up or down - is something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Breathtaking views of the rainforest that must be seen to be believed.
