I really enjoyed both of my days with this company! The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, they were amazing! I really appreciated the cultural presentations on day one and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef was a bucket list item for sure! Day two on Fitzroy Island Karl and Kate were super friendly and I had a great time chatting with them while I waited for the glass bottom boat. I highly recommend these experiences to anyone hoping to snorkel and experience Fitzroy Island.

The first day snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef was amazing!! The Dreamtime dive team was really friendly and knowledgeable. It would’ve been helpful to know about the available add-ons in advance (a guided snorkel and scuba diving) but I was happy to purchase these onboard. A packing list also would’ve been helpful, as I wish I had an underwater camera or phone case this day! The second day to Fitzroy island was much more independently-guided but still a really cool experience.

Discover the vibrant colors of the Outer Great Barrier Reef and the tropical surroundings of Fitzroy Island on 2 tours from Cairns. Enjoy a snorkeling cruise to the Outer Great Barrier Reef on the first day, followed by a visit to snorkeling spots off Fitzroy Island on the second day. Day 1 Meet your marine biologist guides and local cultural experts in Cairns and embark on a snorkeling cruise to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Explore some of the top snorkeling sites, based on the the day's condition. Potential sites include Milln, Flynn, Hastings, Saxon, Norman, or Thetford Reef. Enjoy 5 hours of snorkeling time from the boat, savor a delicious buffet lunch, and take some time to relax on the deck. You’ll have plenty of time to do as much or as little as you like, without feeling rushed. Interact with original clap sticks and fire poles, and enjoy live demonstrations of traditional dances and the didgeridoo. After a day of exploration, return to Cairns for the evening. Day 2 On the second day, enjoy a cruise to Fitzroy Island. Experience the rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef, and a tropical island all in one day from Cairns. Travel along the coastline and arrive at the island that is largely untouched. Explore this protected National Park with walking tracks through the rainforest and heathland. Head to the spectacular Nudey Beach, where you can enjoy some time for snorkeling or sunbathing, with a picnic lunch. The Great Barrier Reef tour was the highlight of this combo tour. Dreamtime Dive and Snorkel team was amazing, the staff was great, during the boat ride out their on staff marine biologist & cultural staff did a presentation on the reef itself, that was quite informative. On the way back there was another equally impressive cultural presentation. Our time at the reef was wonderful, the two reefs we visited were Milln and Flynn, each were absolutely wonderful. Our time at Milln was special, we added the snorkel safari with their marine biologist and were able to go further out crossing open water to see more fish then I’ve ever seen in my life and sharks. At Flynn my fiancé did the introduction to scuba and loved it just as much, getting to the bottom and attracting fish. Probably one of the best days of our entire 2 month trip to Australia. Fitzroy Island, as a combo was a great addition for low cost, we hiked to the top to see an impressive view of the reef, awesome! Thank you!
