The saltworks are located in the industrial area of Cagliari called Assemini / Macchiareddu. You will enter in an industrial area inside a parking (free of charge). Leave your car there and then walk to the bookshop at the main entrance.

Exceptional,we were warmly welcomed shown a video on the history of the island of Sardinia and the salt flats before boarding the train for the tour which again was fascinating and to see flamingos in there own habitat was a joy to see.
