Come and discover Cadiz, an active participant in the Battle of Trafalgar and cradle of the first Spanish constitution.
What to Expect
Cadiz, the little city raised by the Phoenicians in the year 1104 B.C., is considered the oldest city in Western Europe. Over 3000 years of history Cadiz has been disputed by Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines, Visigoths, and Muslims - all attracted by its location and the strength of its walls, which resisted the invasions of Napoleon and the British corsair Francis Drake, among others.
Christopher Columbus sailed from here in two of the four trips he made to the New World. On this 2.5-hour private tour, you will discover many of the highlights of the city, including the Old Cathedral, the Roman Theater, Genoves Park, the Tavira Tower and many more. In the middle of the tour take a break with a gastronomic tasting in a traditional restaurant.
