What People Are Saying About Cabo Girao Cliff
This was three hours well spent on an amazing replica ship, with crew going up into the crows nest to release the sails which gave a really good feel for what it must have been like in days gone by. We saw Bottle Nose Dolphins and Common Dolphins and I caught a glimpse of what I thought was a turtle. There was a lot of fun as we all kept our eyes glued to the ocean and waited for someone to call "here on this side" or "over there". The crew had extremely sharp eyes and helped lots for us to take pictures and catch the dolphins in their natural habitat. We stopped for those who wanted to have a dip in the ocean and there were some who did. This was a lovely relaxing way to spend 3 hours after all the sightseeing we had done that week and was such fun and it is truly worth the money. I mustn't forget there was a parrot to add to the authenticity of the whole thing.
This is an excellent, relaxed, wonderful, unique experience with wonderful staff who make all guests of all ages, nationalities and mobility comfortable. Superb opportunities to take photos and be part of what may have been an explorers cruise with a parrot and small family dog on board, with playful accessories for the kids to become pirates of the seas for the day. Topped off with traditional Bolo de Mel and Madeira Wine complementary along with a bar and catering menu. Much recommended.
We have seen a turtle and two dolphins - no whales. The trip was ultimately fun with the opportunity to swim at one of the highest seacliffs of the world. Would do it anytime again.
This company were careful of the wildlife, unlike another one whose boat frightened off a pod of dolphins we were watching. Nice number of people on the catamaran. Would have be nice to spend a more time looking for dolphins and less going to the 'secluded bay' to swim where there were 4 other similar boats doing the same thing.
