You'll also be able to take advantage of the “Bridges Cruise” application, available in 16 languages. If you prefer, enjoy a combined program that includes the Cruzeiro das Pontes, and a unique guided tour of Burmester's Port Wine Cellars (Sogevinus Group), with a tasting of different wines. The cruise meets all the safety requirements, having two of the most important safety badges: Clean and Safe by Turismo de Portugal and European Tourism Covid-19 Safety Seal.
Burmester has long been recognized for its Port wines and Douro DOC (Denominação de Origem Controlada). Its history started long ago in London in 1730, when Henry Burmester joined with John Nash to create Burmester, Nash & Co and from Vila Nova de Gaia they started exporting Port wines all around Europe. Over the years, Burmester has triumphed from generation to generation, demonstrating its inherent character and determination. Character is the holistic principle of the brand, and of its wines. Arrive at the Burmester winery for an unforgettable experience. You will visit the Burmester Cellars, located next to the beautiful Luiz I bridge, with an expert guide. Learn about Port wines and the Douro DOC production process, and taste different port wines.

We enjoyed this activity. The boat trip was very pleasant. We sail to the estuary and pass under the main bridges. The visit to the cellar is fairly quick but very good. The tasting is perfect and very well explained of the cost we leave with bottles .... I really recommend
Nice tour in a nice port wine cellar. Our host was super friendly and explained a lot about the wine making.
13 € for a really informative hour and 2 ports is pretty nice and we had a lot of fun.
We had a wonderful experience! Really recommend Burmester tour!
Pleasant but a pity that there is no guided tour there
