Departing from Buenos Aires, visit the affluent municipality of San Isidro, keeping your eyes peeled for President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who lives between the capital and San Isidro. Upon arrival in San Isidro, stretch your legs to explore the city center of cobbled streets and single story houses. At its heart is Plaza Mitre, with its neo-Gothic cathedral built in 1898.
After some free time to shop and eat, continue to Tigre and navigate the rivers of the Paraná Delta by boat. Admire the gleaming boats of the yacht clubs on the banks of the Luján River, as well as some outstanding mansions on the slopes of the River Plata.
