What to Expect
On this unique half-day tour of Buenos Aires you’ll first visit the northern part of the city starting from Avenida 9 de Julio and its famous Obelisk. Continue on to the elegant Recoleta neighborhood, and the avenues of Palermo and Belgrano. Visit the city’s Chinatown, to see the diversity of Buenos Aires, before heading to the Eva Peron Museum.

As you begin your travels through the city you’ll hear the story of Eva Peron´s life. After this introduction, you’ll go on a 30-minute walking tour of Recoleta Cemetery. See the mausoleums of important figures in Argentine history, such as Marcelo de Alvear, the country’s president from 1922 to 1928, and Raul Alfonsin, the first president elected democratically following military government rule. See the mausoleum of Evita and her family.

Admire the Floralis Generica, one of the most iconic sculptures in Buenos Aires. Listen to the guide’s commentary about General San Martin, one of South America’s liberators, and about Carlos Thays, a famous French-Argentine garden architect.

Your tour continues through the extensive 3 de Febrero Park in Palermo where you’ll find the Galileo Galilei Planetarium, the hippodrome, and the polo field.
