If you’re interested in cooking and culture and you enjoy eating as well, book this half-day course while you’re visiting Budapest. Learn how to prepare traditional Hungarian Jewish dishes, learn about the culture and customs, and enjoy a 3-course meal.
What to Expect
Kitchen Pixie was created to provide guests with the opportunity to taste traditional Hungarian food and drinks and learn about Hungarians in a personal setting. This unique 4-hour culinary course is held in the flat of your hosts.
Hungarians have a love for cooking and eating great food. When meals are being prepared the kitchen is full of life: someone is chopping onions, someone else is preparing the meat or kneading dough. The pots are bubbling and the room is filled with talking and laughter.
During your cooking class, you’ll sip delicious wine and the smell of the food will fill the entire flat. This is the atmosphere in which you’ll enjoy learning about and preparing traditional Hungarian recipes.
This is also a great opportunity to learn about everyday life, customs, and Hungarian hospitality.
As your private cooking lesson ends you’ll sit down to a delicious 3-course lunch.
