What to Expect
Cycle through the streets of Budapest and then along the Danube to the quaint medieval town of Szentendre. This full-day tour begins in the heart of Budapest as your guide shows you some key sights, including the spectacular Parliament building, before heading to the river.
You’ll cross the Margaret bridge, and cycle through Margaret Island before arriving in Buda to start the journey to Szentendre through Obuda’s charming town center.
The ride to Szentendre follows the Danube River and passes through fields and forests, and alongside beaches. You’ll stop for a short break at one of the many cafés along the way.
When you arrive in the quaint medieval town of Szentendre you’ll park the bike and take a relaxing stroll along the cobblestone streets. The guide will show the best that Szentendre has to offer and stop so you can try langos, a classic Hungarian snack food. After the break you’ll have an opportunity to explore the artistic shops, galleries, and churches of the town center, on your own.
At the end of the tour you’ll head to the Szentendre pier to board a boat that will take you back to Budapest. Enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Danube, take in the spectacular views, and get a different perspective of the area.

Know Before You Go
This tour requires participants to cycle along the flat banks of the Danube for approximately 22 kilometers to Szentendre, with breaks along the way. Tours operate in all weather conditions and participants should dress appropriately. Return transportation by boat may be cancelled during high tides and alternative return transportation will be provided.
