Adrian was our guide. He is a very charismatic fellow who cracked some jokes & was so very knowledgeable. We ended up booking this tour last minute because our other tour cancelled on us last minute & I am SO VERY GLAD! Incredible value for the money. Brasov was amazing. So beautiful & charming. Peles castle was huge! PLEASE PLEASE make sure you wear comfortable shoes with good grip. The damp leaves on the stones can be a bit slick. Also, if you are disabled, please keep in mind that you will be walking up stairs, down & back up a cobblestone sidewalk. Bran castle is smaller, but it is a must see! Please keep in mind that there are a lot of stairs. If you have mobility issues, you can go up another flight of stairs once you are inside & explore several areas as well. Adrian gives you plenty of time to explore on your own-which is great! I was thoroughly impressed with Adrian! And the driver was great as well. I would recommend this tour to my friends & family without hesitation.

Discover some of Romania's most famous castles on a guided tour from Bucharest. Visit Peles Castle and Bran Castle, and take some free time to stroll through the Old Town of Brasov. Following pickup from Bucharest, travel to the city of Sinaia. Visit Peles Castle, the former residence of the kings of Romania. Here, admire furniture, ornamental objects, carpets, tapestries, sculptures, paintings, and collections of weapons from the 15th to 19th centuries. Continue to the famous Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle. Learn about the castle's history and how it had a strategic mission being the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. Enjoy free time in Brasov and admire the town's houses built in the Renaissance, Baroque, Provincial, and neo-Classic style. Explore the medieval fortress of Brasov, formerly one of Europe's most secure fortresses. See the preserved old wall, the Black and White Towers, and the Weaver's Bastion. Learn about Catherine's Gate, situated near the Schei Gate in the western part of the fortress, and its 4 little towers symbolizing the medieval right of life and death over the vassal's lives. Finally, relax on the return journey to Bucharest.

We enjoyed our trip very much! Our guide, Otilia, was very knowledgeable and she had a great sense of humour. She kept making sure along the trip and throughout the visits at the castles that everyone was there on time and there were not any delays. She even made suggestions for Romanian food and places to visit. Our driver Mariys drive us everywhere safe and quick enough. I recommend it 😊
