What to Expect
Enjoy a guided walk through Bratislava, Slovakia´s capital and largest city. On this 1-hour introduction to the city and to Slovakian culture you’ll visit a number of significant sites.
In a small group, you’ll see important locations such as Primatial Square, which surrounds Bratislava Palace. Historically this square served as a marketplace and an arena for public occasions, such as the welcoming of a monarch. Today this is a peaceful spot that features a Renaissance fountain and the Old Town Hall, dating from the 15th century.
Admire the 14th-century St. Martin´s Cathedral, Bratislava´s largest church. The church is important historically as the site of coronations. As you continue walking through Bratislava’s Old Town you’ll see other highlights including the main square, Franciscan Square, Biela Street, Michalska Street, Venturska Street, and Panska Street.
