We didn't get to do the bear trip due to the sanctuary being closed on Mondays but our guide, Saturday, took us above Brasov for some panoramic views, then to Rasnov Fortress and finally Bran. He was knowledgeable and friendly and it was so much better doing these activities with a guide than by ourselves. I would recommend this to anyone.

Likely for them, they now have a good life in the Bear Sanctuary where they can enjoy the life that they didn’t have in captivity. Bran Castle- or, for those who are keen on horror films and dark tales of ghouls, vampires and evil spirits, Dracula’s Castle, the Romanian voivode (Vlad Dracul- Dracula) who inspired Bram Stoker in creating the famous bloodthirsty character.
