Full description

Your guide will conduct the tour in english. Depart from the city center of Bordeaux aboard a van to discover Saint-Emilion, its wines, and its history. Visit 3 wineries and relax with a picnic at a Château. First, learn about the history of Saint-Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its historical monuments. Discover the secrets of this medieval town and its role as the birthplace of Bordeaux viticulture. At noon, enjoy a tasting of 3 wines at a Château winery. Indulge in a picnic from an artisanal and traditional caterer, who provides fresh, local products presented in jars, as well as charcuterie from the Basque Country, and cheese accompanied by a glass of wine. Afterward, visit a second Château winery and enjoy a tasting of 2 wines. Learn more about the specificities of this appellation, including the grape varieties and the winemaking techniques used to create these unique wines. To finish the day, go to last Château for a final tasting of 3 wines.

Great day out! Fabulous from start to finish. Our guide provided great information on route to the tour and was great fun in between. The tour provided great veggie alternatives, which was greatly appreciated! Definitely worth the money :)

An incredible, must do, day out! Rene made our experience very memorable with his fantastic personality and human, not to state his extensive knowledge of the area and understanding of wine. Transport was quick and comfortable between vineyards which was beautiful and offered nice tasting wine. Picnic was also very reasonable and as expected, meats, cheeses and other bits. Cannot recommend it enough

The day trip was really good. Our guide Vincent was really helpful and gave us a lot of context and history about the wineries visited. There was a good variety of wine tasted at different price points. Throughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend!
