This was an amazing experience! My girlfriends and I went on this tour and ended up having the tour to ourselves. Our guide Emilie was very friendly and knowledgeable! We quickly became great friends with our guide. We learned about the wine making process and how to properly taste wine at our first chateau then put our skills to the test at two other chateaus :) Each chateau was welcoming and had a unique feel to it, providing us with a great picture of St Emilion region. The stop in the town of St Emilion for lunch was a lovely rest break and again our guide was very helpful providing us information about the history. Would highly recommend this tour!
Our small group of 8 ( ages 25 - 70) enjoyed the tasting and pairing the cheeses with different wines so much so that we ordered some more! Our guide Marti was very efficient and friendly (5 star rating!). His mildly educative presentation was very enjoyable. I will certainly come again when in the area with another group.
Quentin was an excellent quote. Knowledgeable about wine, the area, and his presentation was fun, interesting, and informative. He spoke with 3 different languages with ease and kept us all feeling engaged. It was a wonderful day immersed in French wine.
We really enjoyed this tour and tried a lot of new food and cheese that we hadn’t had before. Our guide Mary was really friendly and positive. She spoke English really well and we enjoyed her description of all of the foods and wines.
Spending a full day in this tour makes totally sense, we had just the correct time (no hurries nor bores) to enjoy the many beautifull sighseeings and gorgeous wine tastings, just perfect.
