What to Expect
Explore Bordeaux on a 1-hour Segway tour of the historic city center and banks of the River Garonne. The eco-friendly personal transporters are ideal vehicles to tour in small groups of up to 7 people, getting to know the city's picturesque corners and bridges.
Following a short training session, glide to Place des Quinconces to discover one of the largest public squares in Europe. Go to Place de la Comédie by the Grand Théâtre to see upmarket boutique stores. Cruise down Rue Sainte-Catherine, through the heart of the city center.
Gaze up at Saint André Cathedral, where Eleanor of Aquitaine married the future King Louis VII. And admire the medieval triumphal arch of Porte Calhau.
You will also glide along the banks of the Garonne for panoramic views of the UNESCO World Heritage City by the water, such as the vertical lift bridge of the Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas, and the site where German ships sank during World War II. Finally, be amazed by the Miroir d'Eau installation outside the Bourse, where locals have fun walking on a mirror of water.
