The Cathedral is a must when traveling to Bogotá, the site is impressive, very well curated and awe inspiring. The tour only gets 4 stars from me because even though it says it starts at 8 am, it really doesn’t start until 9 am. Counting that with traffic it takes over 3 hrs rounds trip, you only get about 2.5 hrs between the cathedral and a quick pick of the city center. I would still recommend, just beware.

Our driver Carlos Garcia was very attentive, helpful and informative. I love having a small group (just the three of us in my case) and how everyone respected each other’s time and was punctual. The catedral was impressive. It’s hard to imagine salt is from these hidden places underneath the mountain ranges! An informative short movie is included in the entrance ticket. Highly recommend the experience!

Excellent choice! My Guide was Carlos (believe his last name is Garcia)! Knowledgeable, good senses of humor! We were three ladies traveling on the same vehicle (two Brazilian and myself)! Even though Portuguese may sound as Spanish is not! Carlos had the patience to speak slowly to them! Kudos for him! I just regret not booking the two tours together; nevertheless if you choose this one is an excellent choice! They did stop at the “Marroquí Castle”, which was not included but I’m glad hey did! I’ll definitely used them again on my next trip to Bogota!
