What People Are Saying About Bogotá
An enjoyable day out with a very likeable and knowledgeable guide. We got to see some of the amazing graffiti and street art along with a visit to the market to try some Colombian fruit. You will be navigating through some of Bogota's infamous traffic, it can be a bit scary if your'e not used to riding in traffic. Try and stay close to the guide or you might find yourself alone on the other side of a busy junction. All in all areally enjoyable tour.
Our local guide Cristian was fun, enthusiastic and provided us with interesting information. He cycled with us through different neighborhoods of the city, taking time for explanations, pictures and friendly chats about Bogota and Colombia. He always made sure we were all safe and up to his pace. Really great experience with fun group too.
There were about 15 cyclists in our group. The tour took approximately 4 hours and was taken at a pace everyone could cope with. The route was mostly flat but there were a few gentle inclines. The tour guide was very informative. He proved the group with information on the history of Columbia and Bogota as capital. He provided us with information on each of the historical buildings we passed. He also provided information on Columbia's recent history and the social problems which still exist in the country / city. We spent a fair amount of time in the old historic part of the city but ventured out to neighbourhoods in the north, south and west of the city. We visited a market and had an opportunity to taste some local fruit and drinks. A very good tour and a good way to find your way around a new city.
Diana was a very nice guide, could tell us a lot of things and brought us in a good columbian restaurant for lunch.
Bikes adequate to good. Great value for $. Well organized and fun. I like laid back and informative owner who has terrific sense of humor. English speaking very helpful. Tour includes out of the ordinary activities.
