Full description
Your tour will begin as your guides pick you up from your hotel. From there you will head to the historical city center of Bogota. You'll travel upwards to see the city from the mountains, walking among the flower gardens as you get to know one of the most important churches in the city. From there, experience the point where the capital began. You can explore its traditional streets and can also taste the ancestral drink of the natives: la chicha.

You will then see pre-Columbian gold pieces, learning about manufacturing techniques as well as the stories behind each design. Following that you will take a break for lunch in a typical colonial house, tasting the typical flavors of Colombian cuisine. After that you will explore the main square of Bogota, including its important buildings and the history contained in each corner.

Afterwards, enter the city's most important cathedral to visit its architecture and get to know its paintings, sculptures, and stained glass windows. You'll finally walk around and get to know El Septimazo, an important street where you will get to visit the point where Jorge Eliecer Gaitan was killed. Your tour will then conclude with drop off back to your accommodation.
