What People Are Saying About Boboli Gardens
Some peace and quite within walking distance of the city centre, accompanied by some great views of Florence and the surrounding area.
We went here in September which is good because the weather is cooler and the crowds are less. Lots of walking at this venue if you want to see everything, so wear comfortable shoes. When we went, most of the blooms were past, so it's a trade off for number of blooms versus comfort and crowds.
In the morning time there was no line to skip. That was nice, not so crowded. Maybe it was a little bit too warm to do a walk like this, but there was an opportunity to cool down in a small cafe in the courtyard of the palazzo. The silver museum and the porcelain museum are only for die-hard trinkets and porcelain lovers... The costume collection was not so interesting as it was only 20th century clothing.
