It was lit. Get there an hour earlier to get deck chairs on top deck especially if you are a group of more than one (so you can sit together). Boat trip is worth it! (10 euro extra). Food on deck is a good price (cheeseburger 4 euros) and really decent.

I will recommend it to my friends. The boat stopped on the best spots. Enough time to see Blue Lagoon, Gozo and Crystal Lagoon. I would recommend to have a guide tour in Gozo in the pack. It was worth the money. Perfect to see everything in one day. Mostly had young adult people, so for me was a plus traveling by myself.

  • St Paul's Bay: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran

    3. St Paul's Bay: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran

After boarding the catamaran, the first stop will be the Blue Lagoon. The boat will drop anchor away from the crowds, so you can experience the famous turquoise water in peace. During this stop, you can enjoy an optional barbecue. The stops after the Blue Lagoon will depend on the weather. It might be possible to head to the Crystal Lagoon, surrounded by steep dramatic cliffs. Its crystal clear waters are much deeper than the Blue Lagoon, making the area fantastic for snorkeling and swimming in and around the caves. If there is an easterly wind, it’s likely that you’ll visit Ghajn Tuffieha. This is a beautiful rural area, home to a chain of pristine sandy beaches called Golden Bay, Riviera Beach, and Gnejna Bay.

On the way back from Ghajn Tuffieha, an additional stop will be made to discover the film set of Popeye’s Village, tucked away in a charming bay. Other stops ...

Awesome cruise- so worth the little money spend. The ride with the already a bit old jeeps is very adventurous but it was also a lot of fun. I found the stops too short. The jeep driver and boat staff are nice.

  • From Bugibba: Blue Lagoon Afternoon Swim with Sunset Cruise

    10. From Bugibba: Blue Lagoon Afternoon Swim with Sunset Cruise

Avoid the crowds and visit the Blue Lagoon later on during the day when the temperature’s have dropped a little. This excursion is perfect for those who want to snorkel, swim and splash around in the crystal clear shallow waters of the Blue Lagoon during the cooler period of the day. Enjoy the magical cyan colored waters of the Blue Lagoon, which are especially tempting in the late afternoon as the hot Mediterranean sun has been warming it all day long, resulting in the water temperature being very similar to the air temperature. Take advantage of the onboard water-slide and have some fun frolicking in the waters to escape the warm weather. Or if you’d rather relax, spend some time lounging on the boat with a drink on one of the many cushioned recliners. Finally on the way back to port, enjoy the rocking of the calm sea waves, admire the magnificent Mediterranean coastline, and marvel ...

On the day of the cruise we were informed there was a change of boat. Initially we were disappointed as the one we were due to go on had a water slide. However the substitution was a catamaran, which proved far better. The advantage being we went to Popeye Village first then onto Crystal Lagoon prior to spending a couple of hours at Blue lagoon. We made a mistake by not buying the offered bbq. Had we purchased the food it would have made our time at the blue lagoon go quicker. Once the sunset we still had a good hour or so to sit on the boat waiting to go back.
