We will also drive inside the Indian reservation, a unique opportunity to learn about the history, culture and traditions of the Seminoles and Miccosukee Tribe. No animal show with this tour as because we do not support animal abuse which often happens through the so called " Alligator shows". So, with this tour you would have the opportunity to : 1) Visiting the Everglades and taking a 40 minutes shared Airboat Ride tour onboard a real open-air airboat(not a roofed 50+ seat touristic airboat) with elevated seats for a better view, gliding over natural marshes ( not man-made canals). 3) Free time to visit the Miccosukee Indian reservation handicraft store ( except on monday and tuesday). 4) Top notch service - small groups - travelling in the comfort, safety and class of a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban with free Wi-FI always available. The whole tour takes about 3.5-4 hours. Pick up time can be between 8 am and 1:30 pm ( We will confirm the pick time 1-2 days before the tour starts. Explore the subtropical wilderness of the Everglades on an Everglades Day Safari. The safari includes narrated transportation from Fort Lauderdale to the four main ecosystems of the Everglades. Tours depart from the Tesla Supercharging Stations at Galleria Mall (2352 Northeast 9th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304) at 7:15am or Flamingo Gardens Botanical Gardens (3750 South Flamingo Road, Davie) at 7:45am. Once in the Everglades, board an airboat and glide across the "River-of-Grass" through the shallow waters of the sawgrass prairies. Returning to dry land, embark on a wildlife drive into Big Cypress National Preserve where we explore the ancient cypress swamps of the Everglades backcountry searching for alligators, turtles, and birds. On this boat trip it is possible to see pods of dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, sawfish and sharks as well as roseate spoonbills and brown and white pelicans. We get off at a remote beach to explore a little of this pristine ecosystem. After returning to shore we will make a few other small stops including a visit to a historic trading post as well as a local museum and the gallery of famous photograper before heading back.
