Get a great overview of 3 periods in the history of Berlin on a half-day walking tour with a Spanish-speaking guide, private to you. The tour can be adapted to suit your schedule, and will also give an insight into the most up-to-date side to to the city for a sense of life today.

Meet outside City Hall and head off to explore the former capital of Prussia. Learn about the dark days of the Third Reich, and the oppressions of Red Berlin under the Communist system. You will go to the former cattle market of Alexanderplatz, see the statues to Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in the Marx-Engels-Forum, and wander the medieval streets of San Nicolas and Nikolaiviertel.

Orientate yourself at Museum Island, and admire the impressive façade of the Berliner Dom (Cathedral). Walk down the famous Unter den Linden boulevard to the State Opera and St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cathedral in Bebelplatz. Continue to the Gendarmenmarkt to see the French and German Cathedrals.

Stroll along Friedrichstraße, once bisected by the Berlin Wall. Your guide will explain more about the divided city at sites such as Checkpoint Charlie, and take you back to the days leading up to, during, and at the end of World War II at the Nazi Air Force Headquarters, Hitler's Bunker and Holocaust Memorial.
