Explore the highlights from 800 years of Berlin’s history on the way to the Designer Outlet Berlin on this 6-hour tour. After the sightseeing tour you will have the opportunity to enjoy a shopping trip before being driven back to the city center.
What to Expect
Combine sightseeing with a shopping trip to the Designer Outlet Berlin. During this 2-hour tour you will discover the main attractions from all eras of Berlin’s history. The tour starts in the Nikolaiviertel, where you will hear all about medieval Berlin. See the traces of the Hohenzollern family everywhere – from the boulevard Unter den Linden to the Brandenburg Gate.
The dark period of history with the torchlight procession by the Nazis on 30 January 1933 started at the Brandenburg Gate, which followed Hitler to “his” Reich Chancellery. Wilhelmstrasse to the former Prinz-Albrecht-Strasse is symbolic of the subsequent systematic and arbitrary terrorization of the people.
Along the way to the Designer Outlet Berlin you will also see Charlottenburg Palace, the largest and most important residence of the Hohenzollern in Berlin. The last stop of the sightseeing tour is the former Reich Sports Field with the imposing Olympic Stadium. Hertha BSC is the only first-division team in the world whose home stadium is a protected historic monument.
After approximately 20 kilometers you will reach the Designer Outlet Berlin, where you can enjoy shopping at your own leisure. You will be picked up at a pre-arranged time in the afternoon and driven back to the city center.
