Take a relaxing walk through the history-rich Steglitz-Lichterfelde district in Berlin with your guide Jeannette. Admire the 19th-century architecture and then enjoy a delicious Dutch meal at her home, with recipes from her great grandmother´s collection.
What to Expect
On this 4-hour program your private guide Jeannette will take you on a walk through the interesting residential area of Steglitz-Lichterfeld, highlighting the architecture of the houses and buildings representing the Jugendstil and Gruenderzeitvilla styles.
She will also point out a number of eye-catching churches and commercial buildings that play roles in her stories of past and present life in Steglitz-Lichterfelde.
After your walk, you are invited to Jeannette´s welcoming home surrounded by mulberry trees from the 1840s, to enjoy a Dutch meal based on her great-grandmother's 19th-century recipes. The lovely meal (which can be modified on request) includes a salad, a warming stew, and a dessert featuring raspberries and chocolate.
