Hunt for treasure on an exciting path through Berlin to Grunewald. Follow the search for the millions taken from a spectacular bank heist by the Sass Brothers. The treasure remains hidden to this day!
What to Expect
Set out on a fascinating treasure hunt in Berlin and discover the hiding place of the spoils from the Sass Brothers' spectacular bank heist. Use a highly powerful metal detector and see the original crime scene of the break-in.
Start in the workers' district of Moabit. Pass more scenes of the Brothers' "deeds" on the way to Wittenbergplatz and arrive at the most secure bank in Berlin. At the beginning of 1929, the culprits plundered the lockers here. Hear more about the heist and the legends that grew around the brothers.
Experience the impression the brothers made on the city. Berliners love a tough guy and the press writes about them like stars; they were greeted at the Berlin Wintergarten theater with a bouquet, and gave a press conference at the restaurant Lutter & Wegner, after which the police had to acquit them due to a lack of witnesses.
It's interesting to note that their treasure remains hidden to this day! Get involved with the search and follow the trail to Grunewald. Examine the evidence and search the "Friedhof der Namenlosen" cemetery with a pick and a metal detector to see if you can find the millions.
