1. Alberobello: Gastronomic Walking Tour

Explore the city center on our Alberobello walking tour: together with Antonio, a professional guide, discover the magnificence of one of the world's most fascinating cities and its centuries-old heritage ,with a leisurely, relaxed stroll among the Trulli, typical dwellings of the Messapian peoples who inhabited central Apulia from the eighth century until the arrival of the Romans. We will enter Angelo's trullo, the oldest in Alberobello. We will stop at Giuseppe's bakery to savour our typical focaccia freshly baked, the right charge to continue the city tour. We will discover together the wonderful Belvedere Terrace and the neighborhoods of Aia Piccola and Rione Monti, where we can admire the typical architecture of local homes. Among the city's trulli and alleys, until we reach the trullo-shaped church of Sant'Antonio. Near here we will stop again to visit the characteristic store, where you will have the chance to taste the typical "burrata". .We cannot end our tour without sharing a delicious homemade ice cream made with patience and dedication in a quaint ice cream parlour inside a trullo.

What people are saying about Belvedere sui Trulli, Alberobello

Our guide was so friendly and a true local! The food she brought us to taste was delicious!! It was so hot (july) and she made she we were hydrated and ok walking the whole time! If you visit Alberobello, I highly recommend this tour because you see all the sites, learn the history and can enjoy local food, wine & gelato too! What is better than that …especially in Italy!!

We had the most amazing tour with Lorenzo. Besides having an evidently deep love and respect for Alberobello, Lorenzo was very personable and pleasant. His command of English was impressive and he thoroughly conveyed the significance of all that Alberobello had to offer. We had a great time, learned a lot and enjoyed the culinary treats. Kudos to Lorenzo.

Great tour and great tour guide ( Emmanuel’s). The t It may be a bit of a stretch calling it a gastronomic tour though. Yes we ate and visited some food vendors but there wasn’t really anything gastronomic. Very interesting though.

Excellent tour, right balance of information, friendliness, food and walking. We learnt a lot in a short time. Thankyou

Absolutely brilliant tour with Lorenzo. Learnt a lot about Alberbello and the history of the area. Thank you :)
