Continue to the ruins of Dunluce Castle, said to be the inspiration for Harrenhal. Next, make your way to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Giant's Causeway and explore the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal stone columns.  Next visit the Fullerton Arms, a Game of Thrones-themed pub and restaurant in Ballyintoy, lunch at your own expense. Then, go to the village of Cushendun to see the caves formed by over 400 million years of extreme weather conditions. During your tour, you will also stop at the Carrickfergus Castle, the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, and Larrybane Quarry. Our driver was one of the highlights, and I’m being honest. A jolly good chap, with plenty of stories and anecdotes that made all the most enjoyable trip through the country side. A true fan of the Game of Thrones, who I could relate. The visit to the Caves and the Dark Hedges are well worthy additions to the Giants Causeway which is by far the whole point of the tour. Now, the lower points, the stop at Carrickfergus Castle, a proper visit should be part of the tour; It’s a small castle if you compare it with the likes of Caernafon, Warrick, Stirling, Edinburgh or Windsor. So a 15 minutes nip in and out should be well within the time scale. Dunluce Castle, on the other hand, as the access with the coach makes it imposible should be left till after Giant Causeway, as it is just a flight pass for a quick photo, or just makes it an option if the times runs out. 2 hours at the Giants Causeway flew by, I’ll never be sure if it was enough. I enjoy it so much, that I could have with more time

The tour guide (Stuart) was friendly and pleasant to listen to, the tour itself was very busy, there were 47 of us passengers on the coach, the only issue I had was that there was no charging port/ usb port on this particular coach, which is vital for long day trips, the Tour Guide did allow me to charge my phone at the front of the coach/ drivers area, which I am grateful for. I was upset that the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge is no longer an option to visit due to the National Trust changes. The Giants Causeway was the highlight of the day.

It was a very pleasant experience. Our tour guide was well experienced. Being able to connect historical events with the locations visited as well as the roads travelled helped us gain valued perspective. We were able to spend quality time at each location without the sense of being rushed. I would surely recommend this.
